Who we are

Insoucia is operated by Antoine Gapinski, a sole proprietor registered in France (SIRET 98863108100037). You can reach us at hello@insoucia.com.

What we collect

Information you give us: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the content of any message you send us.
Order information: what you bought, the amount, and the delivery details. Your card number is handled by our payment processor. We never see it or store it.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived on our site, and your approximate location. We collect this with cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

To process and deliver your order, take payment and handle refunds.
To answer your questions and give you support.
To send order updates and, if you sign up, marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email.
To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
To show you our ads on other websites and measure how well they work.
To prevent fraud and keep the site secure, and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what they need:

Shopify, which hosts our store and handles checkout, orders and payments (Shopify Payments).
Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, to deliver your order (name, address, phone, email).
Analytics and advertising partners, such as Meta, TikTok and Google, through cookies and pixels on our site.
Email and support tools we use to send messages and answer you.
Authorities and advisers, if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your choices, measure traffic and show relevant ads. Some of this sharing with advertising partners can count as a "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain US state privacy laws. You can opt out on our Your privacy choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then stop working.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states), you may have the right to:

know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
ask us to correct it or delete it;
opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising;
not be treated differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, email hello@insoucia.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will answer within 45 days. You can also use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If you visit from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for up to 10 years, as French accounting law requires. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Where it is processed

Our service providers may process your information in the United States, Canada, Ireland, France and other countries. Where required, we use contractual safeguards for these transfers.

Security

Payments are handled by Shopify Payments over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it. Parents and guardians can buy from us for a teen in their care.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
